Home Alone
Feb 7, 2021
During the winter break, I watched two movies and one cartoon, and a bunch of different videos in English. Today, I’m going to share a new vocabulary from “Home Alone”.
I’d like a word with you, sir. (I’d like to speak to you briefly)
He ate my pizza on purpose. (Deliberately)
We’re leaving at 8 a.m. on the button. (at exactly the right time)
You’re the only one acting up. (to behave badly)
Fuller! Go easy on the Pepsi. (Be gentle on)
This one’s a little out of sorts. (slightly ill or slightly unhappy)
