I think we can start this letter this way. You’ve really been through a lot, through all the stages of adulthood. And achieved something I never expected of myself. You’ve made great friends, you’re still in university, and you’re trying to help everyone. …
I think I’ve accomplished a lot in my second semester. Despite all the difficulties I went through ( family, friends, health, etc.) I did not give up, though many times I was on the verge of giving up everything.
So, what’s the score? I’ve gone through the denial of English in everyday life. Right now, I’m watching TV shows and cartoons and movies in English, and I don’t feel like I have to turn off what I’m watching and switch to a Russian channel. Every post about my goals is always vague, since I have one single goal — to learn English — I do not divide that goal with sub-goals.

It’s been a rough year for me, and I wanted to give up many times, but I managed to get through it. I had trouble with studying and realizing if I wanted to continue studying. I don’t have much to write about, so I guess that’s all I wanted to say, thank you for your attention.

As I said before, I chose this book because Sofia presented it very well.
I like to read this book, despite the fact that I have seen the film and generally know the whole story, read very interesting because in the book all events are described very colorfully.
Since I know the whole story, it meets my expectations, but I want to point out that reading is much more pleasant and interesting than watching a movie.
